The East Bay offers boaters plenty of great spots to enjoy a day of being out on the water. As well as great opportunities to explore a vast area either in the large bay itself or on one of the many smaller lakes that feed the bay. Lake Charbot Regional Park

This lake is one of the primary sources of water for the East Bay and a popular destination for boating and fishing. The 315 acre lake is stocked with catfish and trout along with bass, crappie and a number of other fish. There are also many amenities that can be found around the lake which makes it the perfect place for camping, hiking, biking, jogging and other fun activities.

However, due to the toxic algae in the lake it is not recommended for swimming and boaters are advised to never touch the algae with their hands especially if it is blue-green in color. Although such toxic algae blooms are relatively rare, you cannot be too careful.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Regional Shoreline – San Leandro Bay

Located near the Oakland Airport, this 741 acre shoreline offers a great boat launch site located near Doolittle Drive. The nearby marshes are home to many shorebirds, so it is recommended that you take your boat out slowly to the deeper water. The season for jet skiing and other fast watercraft starts on April 1^st and ends October 31^st. This location also features the 50 acre Arrowhead Marsh and the famed “Duplex Cone” sculpture by Roger Berry that tracks the path of the sun on summer and winter solstice.

Once you are out in the deeper water, there are plenty of places to explore the East Bay from this location which makes for a great day trip.

Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreational Area – Pleasanton

This beautiful boating area consists of an 80 acre lake within the 265 acre park area. It is perfect for swimming, fishing & boating and includes a boat launch and rental facilities along with docks which are perfect for fishing.

You can launch boats that are up to 17 feet long, although they must be electric powered as no gas engines are permitted on the lake including personal watercraft. For boating enthusiasts who enjoy a secluded, beautiful area to enjoy a day on the waves, the Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreational Area is the perfect place to put in your small craft.

Overall, the East Bay provides many great locations for boating of all types that will allow you to enjoy the open bay or the many smaller lakes that dot the area.

Along with a playground, gas station, hair salon, mobile RV service & car rental service connection, full hookups, any length vehicle is allowed in the resort. Their restrooms and showers are clean, swimming pool, laundry, recreation activities. The recent rate is $34.5 for a day.

Northlake RV Resort

Situated in 1919 Humble Westfield Rd, Northlake RV Resort is a wonderful place to spend your time and create wonderful memories. The resort has a beautiful landscape. It has a lot of facilities such as recreation room, free dog washing center, free recreation room, free exercise room, free coffee and popcorn. There is also a free business center/Computer room. The resort has free Wi-Fi too. The recent rates are $50 a day.

South Main RV Park

Situated in 10100 S Maclose, the resort is close to Houston medical Centre and just one mile away from the NRG stadium. They provide laundry supplies, mail, fax and copy services. The resort provides best medical discount and RV supplies. The staff provides free cable TV, Wi-Fi and coffee. The recent rates are $ 50 a day.

All Star RV Resort

According to one of the visitors, all Star RV Resort is the oasis of the city. The tourists are provided with laundry facilities. It has sparkling pools, picnic areas, dog wash facilities and many BBQ. The recent rate is $ 40 a day.

The history of Rolls Royce begins more than 100 years ago. They introduced their first car in 1906 and ever since this car brand has become a synonym for luxury and quality.

A few months ago, the British manufacturer of luxury vehicles, Rolls Royce has officially announced that they will introduce their latest model called Dawn in 2016. As the name suggests, this model should present something completely new and will be used as the “dawn” of a new even more successful era in Rolls Royce. Judging by the first images and the information that has been revealed thus far, the 2016 Rolls Royce Dawn will surely be part of the fierce competition between luxury car manufacturers in 2016. One of the first aspects that most people notice in cars is their appearance. Rolls Royce Dawn is designed to be a convertible version of the highly successful Wraith coupe. This doesn’t mean that besides the roof everything else is the same. On a contrary, only the rear bumper and doors will be alike. This model will have all the characteristics of typical Rolls Royce convertible cars – the expected sporty yet elegant appearance. The designers have decided to use 21 inch wheels and headlamps that look very similar to the ones found on the 2014 Ghost II model. The designers have also come up with a great solution for the roof which seems to take very little space in the back of the car. This solution does not affect the durability and efficiency of the roof.

Even though the car may look smaller than most Rolls Royce models, the manufacturer is assuring everyone that there is enough room to comfortably seat four passengers. In order to provide better comfort, 2016 Rolls Royce Dawn comes with a combination of black and mandarin cowhides used in the seats as well as Candlewood used on the inner side of the doors, dashboard and panel between the seats. In addition, users can enjoy the touch screen on the panel, the top notch audio system and few other features which can’t be found in the Wraith model.\

Finally, the most important things that make this car what it is happens to be the engine. Rolls Royce Dawn comes with a powerful 6.6-liter turbo V12 engine which is more or less the same as the one found in Ghost II. It has 563 horsepower and 575lb/ft of torque. This is enough power to reach 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds.

The 2016 Maserati Alfieri

     Trust Maserati to be pleasantly different and it delivers. Across the world, major automakers are playing it safe. Despite some riveting innovation and rather ordinary creative experiments, the automobile industry is not exactly witnessing a huge transformation. From designs to the specs, most brands are going down the formulaic route. Every now and then a brand comes up with a promise that breaks the mould. The Maserati Alfieri is certainly in that category.

The brand is putting the legacy of Alfieri Maserati on the line here with the 2016 Maserati Alfieri, named after the fifth Maserati brother. Would it pay off? One cannot say but let us delve into the review of the 2016 Maserati Alfieri.

The Car

The 2016 Maserati Alfieri would replace the GranCoupe. One look at the Alfieri and it is anything but ordinary. It oozes style, sophistry and aesthetics. The makers have certainly not confined to restrains as far as the detailing goes. While it is not out of this world, it is certainly interesting in an era of formulaic fluidic lines selling in the name of design and detail. Speculation is rife that the Alfieri will start selling at $100,000 and upwards.

The Specs

The Maserati Alfieri base model will roll out with a 3 liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, capable of generating 410 hp at 450 lb-ft of torque. The premium variant will have a 3.8 liter V8 engine with twin turbochargers. The latter is in line with the existing GT models that sports V8 engines capable of generating a max 550 hp. The premium Maserati Alfieri is expected to generate at least 525 hp. There is a SuperSport variant that will be capable of generating a minimum of 600 hp. That is some power in a sleek car and it is right up there to fight it out with Mercedes and Ferrari.

The base model will roll out with a rear wheel drive system and an eight speed automatic gearbox. The higher variants will have all wheel drive systems with a similar gearbox. Maserati has claimed that the Alfieri will be more fuel efficient than the GT models, by around 15%. The car is expected to have a top speed of more than 185 miles per hour in all variants and it should be able to race up to 60 miles per hour in around three seconds.

The Maserati Alfieri would sport an all-leather 2+2 interior layout and although its design may be directly inspired by the older GT models, the details make it special and rather aggressive.
