THE TESLA MODEL X

The Tesla Model X will be introduced as a prototype crossover. It is the third electric model to be released by Tesla after the Model S sedan and the 2 door Roadsters. The Model X will accommodate up to seven passengers and promises to be more family friendly and functional than the Model S. The soon to be revealed crossover has recently undergone test runs in the streets of LA. And as far as looks go, the Model X inherits the cabin and upswing falcon winged door concept which gives a beautiful and sporty look to car. Many would say that this is the next step forward in electric car technology and engineering.

The Tesla Model X is more likely a Model S that has been extended vertically. Its headlights, grille, general contours and taillights are identical to the sedans’, with a central weight that is lower than the average SUV, you will notice its’ beautiful reflexes at every turn. It is even loaded with all their gears.  However, the Model X offers key differences such as forward facing third row seats and a set of rear falcon wing doors which make the car appear even more radical. Tesla requires this pair of upward swinging doors to provide optimal comfort to passengers stepping in and out of the second and third row seats. The setup is mostly artifice. AN ELECTRIC CROSSOVER:

As similar as the Model X is to the S, the Model X is more than skin deep. The Model X may be furnished with crossover fundamental all wheel drive. Its standard drive structure mirrors that of S, but with an additional front mounted motor power axle on the all-wheel drive models, with rear mounted and single electric motor driving the rear wheels. With the all-wheel drive system, the X Model can catch traction and difference between the two axles and power apportions. Same as the Model S, Model X is giving sporty performance. Not to mention it’s able to  hit 60 mile per hour in less than five seconds.

7 Steps To Buying A New Or Used Car

If you are reading this you are obviously thinking of buying a new car, and are not quite sure of what to prepare for. Things like what kind of paperwork you would need, or what exact specifications you want. Here are the seven most important steps you should follow before signing anything.

1.   Do ample research.
If you are not sure about the color, the model, the payments or simply the type of car that would suit you, read some reviews from experts, make detailed search, or consult someone that has knowledge of mechanics and anything that goes in the package. Expand your horizons, be sure to keep an open mind for everything.
2.  Do some calculations, and figure out how much you can afford.
Often, when you buy a new car you can negotiate the price. However, before you go out and buy it, make sure that you have enough money. Secure yourself financially with a loan from a bank so you get more power in the negotiations. If you do that, you will have extra money for the taxes and fees, which usually come with the purchase.

3.  Understand all the expenses that will come with the new car
So, let’s say that you have chosen what kind of car you want to buy. Now, the next thing you should do is to check how much money for gas will you need per month or week (take note that there are cars that use much more than others), also check how much will the basic repairs cost (for example oil change, broken headlights, repainting, or even interior design changes like car seats etc..), check how much will and insurance will cost you, and also, the most important- maintenance.

4.   Know what you can get with your money
There are many different car types and models, and yet they cost almost the same. Check out all the possible options when you research, find out what kind of specifications the car has to offer, and compare between vehicles. You want to be sure to the best for your money. Ask the car salesman, because that is their job, to explain what you get in each package. Do not be wooed our convinced merely by external design. Often, many cars that seem perfect from the outside, but have lousy interior, spend way too much gas, and they are not that fast.

5.   Take it on a test drive
Before you sign anything, take the car you have chosen, or the one you like out on a long drive. Right there, behind the wheel you can feel if the car is for you or not. Make it long, not some ten minute drive, because buying a car is a big deal, and you don’t just buy stuff like that every week. Make sure that you feel comfortable in it, and that you are not rushing into such big decision.
66.   Read the terms and conditions twice before signing
Sometimes, in a rush, you sign anything that is handed to you without reading. If possible take the papers at home and study them thorough. Often, in those contracts there are lines that are written in smaller letters saying that something is wrong or missing in the product for example some kind of scratch, something in the warranty, or some kind of bug in the alarm system. Read everything carefully, and then proceed with signing the contract.

7.   Take delivery of your car
As much as you are excited about your new car, take a ride before taking it home with the salesman. That person is trained to show you how everything works, and also gives you tips about the maintenance, or simply about the inside technology like GPS, Bluetooth etc..
And last, and most important: Enjoy your new ride.
